About Us
We're Not a Travel Agency. We're the People Standing in Line Next to You.
Epic Park Tips started with a simple problem: everyone else was planning their Universal Orlando trips off scattered forum posts, outdated blog articles, and TikToks that showed pretty footage but never actually told you anything useful.
We live in Orlando. We're Annual Passholders. When Epic Universe opened its gates to the public on May 22, 2025, we were already inside — we'd been lucky enough to walk the park during preview week beforehand, which meant we started documenting details before most of the internet had even set foot inside.
That's the whole philosophy behind everything we build: skip lines, save time, plan smarter. No recycled park descriptions or copy-pasted lists. Just specific, fact-checked information from someone who's actually in these parks regularly — not just visiting once to write about it.
Who's Behind This
Hi — I'm Erika, the person actually writing, researching, and designing every guide you see here. This is a one-woman operation: I handle the writing, the fact-checking, the design, the ads, all of it. When something changes in the parks, I'm usually finding out in real time because I'm either there myself or my brother — a genuine park regular — is texting me the update.
My husband is along for the ride too (pun intended) — he's not in the trenches running the business day to day, but he's there for park visits, second opinions, and general moral support when a launch doesn't go the way I hoped.
Why It Matters
Universal Orlando changes constantly — new lands open, rides close for refurbishment, policies shift. A guide that's accurate today can be wrong in three months if nobody's paying attention. We are paying attention. Every guide gets checked against official sources, updated when things change, and written by someone who has actually ridden the ride, waited in the line, and used the accessibility pass — not someone summarizing a press release from a desk somewhere else in the country.
What We Offer
- Beyond the Gate — the complete Epic Universe guide
- Sail the Islands — the complete Islands of Adventure guide
- Unlock the Studios — the complete Universal Studios Florida guide
- Through the Portals — a quick 1-day Epic Universe mini guide
- Bundles for multi-park trips, so you're not piecing together three separate purchases
Every guide is built the same way: walked, tested, fact-checked, and written by someone who genuinely loves this resort — not just markets it.
Thanks for trusting us with your trip. We hope these guides help you spend less time figuring things out and more time actually enjoying the parks.
— Erika
